Terrine is a French cuisine dish made from vegetables, meat, fish or, in a sweet version, from berries and fruits. Apple terrine is a delicate, airy fruit dessert. What is good about this terrine? It does not contain complex ingredients, it is easy to prepare, it is moderately sweet, has a pronounced apple aroma and a memorable taste.

  1. Peel apples, remove seeds and cut into cubes.
  2. Put the apples in a saucepan, sprinkle with cinnamon, pour over the lemon juice, add the cider and put on the stove.
  3. Boil apples for 25 minutes, then add sugar and stir.
  4. Puree apples with a blender or mash with a masher. Melt butter and add to applesauce. Stir.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time to the apple mass, stirring well after each.
  6. Preheat the oven to 150°C. Line a cake tin with parchment paper, grease it with butter.
  7. Put the apple mass into a mold and smooth it out.
  8. Put the form with the apple mass into a large form with water and bake in the oven for 1-1.5 hours in a water bath.
  9. Cool the apple terrine in the form, then lay out and cut into portions. Serve with whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream. Bon appetit!
