  1. 1. Pour clean water into a saucepan. Add sugar. Bring to a boil.
  2. 2. While the water is boiling, wash the apricots. Cut the fruit into 2 parts and remove the seeds.
  3. 3. Put apricot halves into sweet boiling water. Bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Cook for 5-7 minutes after boiling. We remove the saucepan from the fire. Let cool and refrigerate compote.
  5. 5. Add lemon juice to the chilled compote.
