As I said before: I always supplement compotes from rhubarb for color and taste. This time, viburnum gave a beautiful color, or rather jam, which I used instead of sugar. We do everything to taste. It turned out not cloying, but a beautiful drink.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1. Wash the rhubarb, and cut it into pieces.
  2. 2. Add chopped apple to it. Maybe with skin.
  3. 3. Fill with clean water and put it on fire.
  4. 4. Boil. Boil for 5 minutes and turn off. Let it brew.
  5. 5. Strain.
  6. 6. Instead of sugar, I had viburnum jam. Just like that, this jam is an amateur because of the seeds.
  7. 7. Add about half a glass of jam to the broth. If the viburnum is frozen, add additional sugar.
  8. 8. Stir and pour into glasses.
