A hearty and tasty dish that can be prepared with just 3 ingredients - mouth-watering, tender and ruddy egg envelopes with ham and cheese. A great alternative to your usual breakfast eggs or a quick snack. Try it!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Grate the ham and cheese on a fine grater.
  2. Break the eggs into a separate container and beat lightly with a fork to mix the whites and yolks. For the convenience of further cooking, you can whisk and fry one egg at a time, but then the pancakes will turn out to be a little thicker.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and brush with vegetable oil. Pour in a serving of beaten eggs and spread over the skillet to create a thin egg pancake. Fry the pancake for about 1-2 minutes, until the egg mass "grasps".
  4. Then flip the egg pancake over to the other side. Place some ham and grated cheese in the center of the pancake. I get 5 thin or 4 thick pancakes, so I divide the filling into 4-5 parts, respectively, and distribute it between the pancakes.
  5. Roll the egg spring roll into an envelope. To do this, first fold the free edges of the pancake to the left and right of the filling and fold towards the center. Press the edges of the pancake with a spatula for 10-15 seconds to fix them in this position.
  6. Then fold the top and bottom edges of the pancake in the same way. Pressing lightly with a spatula, fry the resulting envelope for another 20-30 seconds.
  7. Then turn the egg envelope over and fry for another 20-30 seconds on the other side. Repeat the process with the remaining egg mass and filling.
  8. Delicious egg envelopes with cheese and ham are ready. If desired, trim off the protruding edges of the envelopes to make them more neat. Garnish with chopped herbs and serve.
  9. Bon Appetit!
