Feijoa and quince compote

Another tasty and healthy compote. Feijoa gives compote a very pleasant taste and aroma.

  1. 1. My quince is huge and so fragrant! It is good to clean the quince from the rough layer and wash it. Cut quince into slices. Now you need to carefully remove the seeds, but do not touch the core, the white part. Transfer the quince to a saucepan.
  2. 2. Wash the feijoa, cut off the tails and cut in half. Add feijoa to quince, add water, cover, and put on fire. Let it boil and add sugar. I don’t add sugar, we prefer to drink compote either just like that or with honey (we add it to a warm drink).
  3. 3. Cook compote under the lid for 10-15 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let the compote brew for another 15-20 minutes.
