Ginger drink with citrus

This drink is good for colds. It is very rich in vitamin C.

  1. 1. Peel and grate the ginger root on a medium grater. Squeeze juice from half a lemon.
  2. 2. Cut orange into slices.
  3. 3. Bring water to a boil. Put ginger in a saucepan, add lemon juice, and orange slices and turn off the gas. Cover the pot with a lid and leave to infuse for 30 minutes.
  4. 4. Strain the ginger drink and dissolve honey in it.
  5. 5. Pour the ginger drink into mugs and top with a lemon slice. Drink warm or cold, whichever you prefer. For children, honey can be added more.
