Green beans with wild rice

  1. Chop the leeks and fry in a pan in olive oil. Add rice there, carefully pour in about 200 ml of boiling water - the water should cover the rice by about 2-3 cm on top. Salt, bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to a minimum.
  2. Simmer rice until cooked for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Wash the beans, dry them, cut into pieces 1.5 cm long. Boil until tender in boiling water, 3-5 minutes, salt at the very end.
  4. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add ground paprika and heat until a spicy aroma appears for 2-3 minutes. Then immediately remove from heat.
  5. Combine ready-made rice with beans, pour over with spicy oil.
