I offer a recipe for a delicious vitamin drink. In the summer heat, they can be cooled at any time of the day, you can take them with you on a picnic.

  1. 1. Pour water into a saucepan, and put hawthorn berries. I have frozen ones. If fresh, then they must be washed and cut off the stalks. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to medium and simmer the hawthorn for 15-20 minutes.
  2. 2. While the hawthorn is cooking, wash the apples, remove the seeds, and cut them into slices.
  3. 3. Place the apples in a bowl and pour over the juice of half a lemon.
  4. 4. Cut 2-3 circles from the remaining half of the lemon.
  5. 5. Strain the hawthorn broth with berries through a fine sieve. Return the broth back to the pan and put it on a small fire.
  6. 6. Set aside a small part of the berries, and crush the rest of the hawthorn berries with a wooden pestle.
  7. 7. Place crushed hawthorn berries in a sieve. Place the sieve in a saucepan with broth and rub the berries with a spoon, trying to squeeze out as much pulp as possible. Raise the sieve over the pan and press down with a spoon of pomace to glass all the liquid.
  8. 8. Put apple slices in the broth.
  9. 9. Pour in sugar, and mix.
  10. 10Put the lemon slices, and the remaining whole hawthorn berries in the pan. Cook for 5 minutes and remove from heat. Allow the drink to cool to room temperature, you can put it in a bowl of cold water. Then put it in the refrigerator to cool.
