I indicated the cooking time without waiting until the water is infused (and this is 2-3 months).

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1. Sort the lingonberries well (by berry, if bad berries get into the jar, they will ruin it for us!). Wash the berries, and dry them on a towel. Put in a clean three-liter jar. The level of berries is on the “shoulders” of the can. Then fill with clean drinking water. Close the lid and leave for 2-3 months to infuse. I have a jar in my room. Lingonberries contain benzoic acid, which has an antimicrobial effect. Therefore, if you have thoroughly sorted out the berries, there will be no fermentation.
  2. 2. Then we drain the water from the berries, and it turns out to be a very saturated ruby color.
  3. 3. So that lingonberry water does not seem too sour and saturated, we dilute a glass of lingonberry water with two glasses of drinking cold water, and add 2 tbsp. l. honey, dissolve it without residue.
  4. 4. Such water is stored for a long time and over time it only becomes tastier.
