Another drink (more precisely, dressing for tea) from chaenomeles. Japanese quince is low-sugar, similar in performance to lemons.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1. Cut the Japanese quince thinly, separating the seeds. Can be grated. But the slices seemed more aesthetic to me.
  2. 2. Sprinkle with sugar. We shake a little, not as active as I did. I gave conditional proportions, there was a little quince, I laid it out in small jars.
  3. 3. Leave the jar overnight at room temperature. After a few hours, the sugar begins to dissolve.
  4. 4. A day later, juice syrup is formed. My chaenomeles were not watered, and the Ukrainian steppe summer was dry and hot, so there is not much juice.
  5. 5. Pour into brewed tea 1–2 tsp. You can also put slices.
