Masala means a mixture of spices in Hindi. There are many options, but I liked it from Oleg (Aron-Space deleted).

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1. We take cardamom from the set, lightly press and shake out the contents, and remove the shells.
  2. 2. Whole coriander.
  3. 3. Now the usual cumin (right) and zira on the left. There are almost no visual differences, but the aroma of zira is very strong.
  4. 4. Carnation.
  5. 5. We grind in a mortar or, like me, in a bowl. You can also grind in a coffee grinder.
  6. 6. For pepper (only black, there was no white), I used such a battery-powered device with a backlight - very convenient!
  7. 7. Pour the pepper into the base.
  8. 8. Grate nutmeg or take ground.
  9. 9. Add ground cinnamon.
  10. 10. Rub it all back together with a little.
  11. 11. Pour the preparation into a jar with a tight lid.
  12. 12. When preparing coffee masala, you will need ground coffee, sugar, and milk with water, without bay leaf.
  13. 13. And if you want to make masala tea, we take additional milk, water, sugar, and bay leaf.
