  1. 1. Pour 5 cups of water (1.25 l) into the pan. Add sugar. Bring to a boil.
  2. 2. We wash the drains with water. Remove the pits by cutting the plums into 2 parts.
  3. 3. Place plum halves into boiling sweet water. Bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Cook plums from the moment of boiling for 5-7 minutes.
  5. 5. We take a deep cup and a colander-sieve. Strain the cooked compote into a bowl. Plums wipe through a sieve.
  6. 6. The skin from the plum will remain in the sieve.
  7. 7. We return the compote with plum pulp to the pan. Bring to a boil.
  8. 8. In a cup of starch, add 1 cup (250 ml) of clean water at room temperature. Mix well.
  9. 9. Add the starch mixture to the boiling compote with pulp.
  10. 10. While stirring, bring the jelly to a boil. Cook for 1-2 minutes. We cool the jelly.
  11. 11. Serve by adding mint leaves.
