An unusual potato roll with eggs, beans and bacon, based on an Italian dish, can be served on a festive table.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Let's start cooking by peeling the potatoes and cutting them into cubes. Put the potatoes in a saucepan, add enough boiling water to cover the potatoes completely, add 0.5 tsp. salt and cook potatoes until cooked for 25 minutes.
  2. We put one raw egg aside for now, and put three in a saucepan, fill it with water, put the pan on the fire and boil the eggs hard-boiled for 9 minutes. Drain the water from the eggs and let them cool.
  3. Cut the smoked brisket or bacon into small cubes. Fry the brisket in a frying pan until crisp. Remove the pan from the heat.
  4. Drain the water from the finished potatoes. Remember mashed potatoes using a potato grinder. Let the potatoes cool for literally 5 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, grate the hard cheese on a medium grater.
  6. Put cheese to potatoes.
  7. Add butter to a pot of mashed potatoes.
  8. Drive in the raw egg that we laid.
  9. Add fried smoked brisket to the potatoes, without fat, which was released during frying.
  10. Drain the liquid with the canned beans and add the beans to the mashed potatoes in a saucepan. Mix well all the ingredients gently. Add puree to taste, if necessary.
  11. We divide all mashed potatoes into three parts. Cut the baking paper into strips twice as wide as a chicken egg. Put mashed potatoes in the middle of the strip. Put a boiled egg peeled from the shell in the middle of the puree square.
  12. Roll the edges of the mashed potatoes so that the egg is inside the mashed potatoes. We wrap the edges of the paper.
  13. We spread the finished rolls in a baking dish. We send the form with rolls to the oven preheated to 150 degrees for 25 minutes. You can remove the paper and lightly brown the rolls on top by increasing the temperature in the oven to 180 degrees and leaving the rolls there for 5-7 minutes. Then we take the rolls out of the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes.
  14. Potato rolls with egg and beans are ready, cut them in half and serve. Bon Appetit!
