The cake is slightly elastic, dense and soft at the same time, melting in the mouth, with a rich, but at the same time delicate orange flavor and aroma.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat well with a mixer. Gradually add sugar while continuing to beat.
  2. Add softened butter and beat. The mixer is no longer needed.
  3. Sift flour and baking powder - mix so that there are no lumps.
  4. Divide the finished dough into two equal parts.
  5. Add cocoa and chopped walnuts to one part - mix into a homogeneous mass.
  6. Finely grate the orange zest and squeeze out the juice. We send the zest and juice to the second half of our dough - mix.
  7. We cover the baking dish with parchment paper and grease it with vegetable oil. We spread a layer of dough with the addition of cocoa, distributing an even layer over the entire surface. Put a layer of orange dough on top.
  8. We bake our cupcake in the oven, heated to 200 degrees for 40 minutes.
  9. Cut the cooled cake into pieces and decorate with powdered sugar.
