Corn muffins with cheese, onion and garlic

These onion muffins with cheese and garlic can be served as a snack, or as a replacement for bread.

Ingredients

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees.
  2. In a food processor, combine flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Add 5 tbsp. l. cheese and butter. Grind for another 5 minutes in a food processor. In another bowl, combine buttermilk, onion, garlic and egg and beat. Gradually add this mixture to the flour. Knead the dough well.
  3. Butter 12 cupcake tins. Put the dough into molds, sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake cheese muffins for about 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand in molds at room temperature for about 5 minutes. Remove the onion muffins from the molds and cool completely.
