Cupcake with dates and nuts

Dried fruits and nuts are a wonderful filling for a cupcake, this time I used dates and walnuts, the cupcake turned out incomparable.

Ingredients

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Line a 23cm x 30cm cake tin with parchment paper.
  2. Finely chop the dates, put in a bowl, pour water and add soda. In a separate bowl beat eggs, sugar and butter. Add vanilla extract and dates.
  3. Add flour, salt, baking powder and nuts to the butter mixture, mix well.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and place it in the preheated oven, bake the date and nut cake for about 45 minutes, until a clean wooden stick.
  5. Leave the finished cake with dates and nuts at room temperature for 5 minutes, and then remove from the mold.
