Very beautiful pie with a juicy filling of chicken, cheese and mushrooms. Such a meat pie can become a real decoration of the festive table.

  1. Separately mix dry ingredients (yeast, salt, sugar, flour) and liquid ingredients (egg, butter, milk) separately. Gradually adding flour, knead a soft and plastic dough. Leave the dough to rest for 1-1.5 hours.
  2. Cut chicken, mushrooms and onion into small cubes. Fry all the ingredients, I fry everything separately, and then combine. Grate the cheese.
  3. Add chopped garlic, salt, pepper to taste, a little cheese (about 20 g) to the filling. Mix everything.
  4. Divide the dough into 2 parts and roll out 2 circles with a diameter of 26-28 cm.
  5. Sprinkle the first circle of dough with cheese, not reaching 1 cm from the edge.
  6. Lay out the filling in the center. Top with second sheet of pastry. Seal the edges of the dough. Press the dough around the filling.
  7. Make cuts at a distance of 3-4 cm, reaching the slide with the filling.
  8. Turn each formed petal up, pinching the bottom and sides of the petal. And straighten the top a little.
  9. Lubricate the pie with yolk, and sprinkle the middle with poppy seeds.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 190 degrees until golden brown.
