Cooking fried pies from cottage cheese dough is much faster than from yeast dough, and they are not at all inferior to yeast dough in taste. Soft, tender, fluffy and very tasty. The main thing is not to overdo it with the amount of flour and choose soft cottage cheese, without grains, then you will get wonderful pies.
You can choose the filling according to your taste: sweet, potato, meat.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Add cottage cheese, salt and egg to the flour sifted with baking powder.
  2. Knead soft dough. The dough will be sticky, but that's how it should be. Cover the bowl with a towel or plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. For the filling: boil the egg and chop it finely, grate the cheese, chop the greens finely. Mix.
  4. Dust a work surface with flour and divide the dough on it into 5 equal parts.
  5. Using your hands, knead a piece of dough into a circle, put the filling in the middle of the circle and pinch, forming a pie.
  6. If the dough is very sticky to your hands, grease them with vegetable oil.
  7. Heat the pan, grease with vegetable oil and put the pies on it.
  8. Fry on both sides until golden brown for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  9. Bon appetit!
