Tartlets are shallow pastry baskets filled with filling. They are indispensable on the holiday table.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Defrost puff pastry. Sprinkle a work surface with flour and lightly roll out the puff pastry on it.
  2. With a round shape, or a regular glass, cut out an even number of circles.
  3. Set aside half of the circles - these are the bottoms of the tartlets, and from the second half, with a glass of a smaller diameter or a glass, cut out the side walls. You should get a pancake with a hole.
  4. Transfer whole circles to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and grease them with egg white. We lay out the blanks of the sides on whole circles.
  5. Pierce the bottom of the tartlets several times with a fork, and grease the sides with yolk.
  6. After cutting the sides, small circles of puff pastry remain. They make delicious puff pastry. Sprinkle them with sugar and bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Bake the tartlets in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15 minutes, until browned.
  8. For the filling: finely chop the mushrooms and fry with onions. Boil the egg in a steep, grate the cheese with a fine grater, finely chop the crab sticks.
  9. Combine all the prepared ingredients, add salt, mayonnaise, preferably homemade and mix.
  10. Fill the tartlets with stuffing, decorate with herbs and serve.
  11. Bon appetit!
