  1. All ingredients must be at room temperature.
  2. Combine eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat with a mixer for 5 minutes, until a light and fluffy mass is obtained.
  3. Add soft butter and beat again for 5 minutes.
  4. Add flour with baking powder to the butter-egg mass and mix with a mixer at low speed.
  5. At the end, add kefir and mix the dough.
  6. Add starch to clean dry currant berries and mix.
  7. We combine the dough with currants.
  8. Grease a cake tin (size 21x11 cm) with butter and sprinkle with flour. Shake off excess flour.
  9. Pour the dough into the mold. We level. We bake a cupcake on kefir in the oven, heated to 160-170 degrees, 50-60 minutes.
  10. Check the readiness of the cake with a wooden skewer. When piercing the cake, there should be no traces of raw dough on the skewer.
  11. We leave the finished cake with currants to cool in the mold for 10 minutes, then remove from the mold and completely cool it on a wire rack.
  12. Sprinkle the cooled currant cake with powdered sugar.
