Yeast pies with potatoes and liver

The most delicious pies in the world! Fluffy, light, little dough - a lot of toppings! The perfect recipe for beginners, get it right the first time!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel potatoes, boil in salted water until tender. Then puree.
  2. Lightly fry the onions and carrots in vegetable oil. Then add the liver and simmer under the lid until tender.
  3. Cool the liver and vegetables slightly and then grind with a blender until smooth.
  4. Mix liver and potatoes, salt and pepper to taste.
  5. For the dough, combine kefir with vegetable oil, salt and sugar and heat to a warm (not hot!) state.
  6. Sift flour, mix with dry yeast.
  7. Combine wet and dry ingredients, knead the dough.
  8. Cover with a bag or cling film and leave in a warm place for 30-40 minutes.
  9. Pinch off a piece from the dough and form a cake in the palm of your hand, lay out the filling and pinch.
  10. Place seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Brush with egg or milk. Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes.
  11. Wind pies with potatoes and liver are ready :)
