strawberries (in dough) 250 g
strawberry (top) 200 g
sugar 160 g
sour cream 20% 150 g
butter 50 g
eggs 2 pcs.
baking powder 1 tsp
soda ½ tsp

PREPARATION:
Combine flour with baking powder, soda and salt. We add soda to the dough when we use a fermented milk product in order to neutralize the acid contained in these products. If this is not done, then the consistency of the finished product will be dull. The baking soda alone is not enough for the growth of the dough, so a baking powder is added, as it provides the rise of the baked goods.
Combine eggs with sugar and beat at maximum mixer speed for 4-5 minutes.
Add melted and cooled butter and sour cream, mix thoroughly. Sour cream can be taken with a higher / lower fat content or replaced with yogurt.
Combine with flour mixture in two steps. At this point, you can add lemon zest.
Mix with diced strawberries. Lubricate the form with vegetable oil.
Put it in the form and distribute. Decorate with strawberry halves on top, press lightly into the dough.
Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C on a medium level without convection for 40-50 minutes.
Remove from the mold and cool completely. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving. The pie tastes much better the next day.
