INGREDIENTS:
frozen herring 1-2 pcs.
ketchup 200 ml
bulb onions 1 pc.
vegetable oil 60 ml
vinegar 9% 1 tbsp.
sugar 1 tbsp.
salt 1 tsp
ground black pepper
black peppercorns
Bay leaf
water 150 ml
PREPARATION: +
Cut the herring fillet into small pieces.
Add salt, sugar, pepper and bay leaf to the water, let the water boil and add oil, vinegar, ketchup and let it simmer again over low heat for about two minutes. Cool the brine.
Put fish and onion sliced in half rings in a container, fill it with cooled brine and send it to the refrigerator for 12 hours.
