INGREDIENTS:
oat flakes 150 g
dried figs 100 g
pistachios 50 g
dried berries 20 g
eggs 1 pc.
oranges ½ pcs.
vanilla essence 1 tsp
PREPARATION:
In a large bowl, combine oatmeal, chopped dried figs, pistachios, any dried berries, grated zest, and the juice of half an orange.
Add vanilla essence.
Beat a raw egg separately, add to the bulk, mix.
Spread the mixture into a medium-sized square dish lined with parchment.
Bake at 180 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes until golden brown, a golden brown crust should form.
Leave for 10 minutes, cut into strips and cool on a wire rack.
When serving, garnish the dish with fresh or defrosted berries and a leaf of green mint. You can store the bars in the refrigerator.
