INGREDIENTS:
pasta 200 g
beets (medium size) 2 pcs.
garlic 3 cloves
walnuts (peeled) 100 g
basil 50 g
olive oil 4 tablespoons
salt taste
ground black pepper taste
PREPARATION:
Rinse the beets, cover with cold water, bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook for 2 hours until tender. Cool, peel and chop finely.
Peel and chop the garlic. Wash the basil, tear off the leaves. Boil the pasta until tender.
Heat oil in a frying pan, add garlic and brown a little. Add the beets and cook for 3 minutes. Add pasta and stir. Pepper to taste, no need for salt.
Lightly brown the nuts in a dry skillet. Arrange the pasta with beets on plates, sprinkle with chopped nuts and basil leaves.
If you wish, you can sprinkle the dish with crumbled cheese.
