Servings: 7
Cooking time: 1 hour
INGREDIENTS:
red currant (ready-made puree) 1 kg
sugar 1 kg
PREPARATION:
Wash the currants and grind them with a blender or meat grinder.
The resulting porridge must be rubbed through a sieve. I use a pusher and squeeze out the rest with my hand. Measuring currant syrup. This time I got 1 kg of the finished product.
I put the currants on the fire and add 1 kg of sugar. The proportions of finished currants and sugar are 1 to 1.
Stir the currants from time to time and cook after boiling for 5 minutes.
We pour our jam into sterilized jars and close the lid. No need to flip and wrap cans. After cooling, the jam will thicken! Enjoy your tea, everyone!
