Siberian Dumplings On Choux Pastry

INGREDIENTS:

wheat flour 600 g

boiling water 200 ml

eggs 1 pc.

vegetable oil 3 tbsp.

salt ½ ч.л.

chopped meat 500 g

bulb onions 2 pcs.

water 50 ml

salt ½ ч.л.

ground black pepper taste

PREPARATION:

Let's prepare the minced meat. Chop the onion with a meat grinder or blender. Add it to the minced meat. Season with salt and pepper, add cold water and knead well.

Let's prepare the choux pastry. Add the egg and salt to the flour, mix with a fork. Then add boiling water and stir. Let's add some vegetable oil. Knead the dough on the table and let it sit, covered, for 10-15 minutes. The dough is elastic and easy to work with.

Divide the dough into 4 parts. Form a tourniquet from each part and cut into 1 cm thick circles. Roll out the cakes. Place the minced meat in the center of each flatbread and form a dumpling.

Boil water, add salt and optionally 1 onion. Add dumplings. When they come up, cook them for 5 minutes. Place in a plate and add butter or sour cream to the dumplings.
