INGREDIENTS:

wheat flour 700 g

water (warm) 350 ml

butter (melted) 100 g

onion (large onion) 1 pc.

salt 1.5 tsp.

PREPARATION:

Let's dissolve salt in water and start adding flour little by little. Knead the dough, while it should not stick to your hands. You may need more or less flour, so we introduce it gradually. Leave the dough to rest for 20 minutes.

Cut the onion not very coarsely. You can salt and pepper.

Then we divide the rested dough into 6 parts. Roll out each part of the dough into a cake, grease well with melted butter, sprinkle with onions and roll into a roll.

Then we twist the rolls in the shape of a snail and put our blanks in the freezer for 20 minutes. You can put it in the refrigerator, then it will take 2-3 hours. This is necessary so that the butter hardens and the dough turns out to be flaky.

After 20 minutes, we take out the blanks and roll each into a cake. Fry in a dry frying pan until cooked on both sides. Grease the finished hot cakes with a piece of butter and serve. They are most delicious when freshly cooked.
