INGREDIENTS:

butter 200 g
sugar 175 g
peeled almonds (grated) 125 g
potato starch 100 g
vanilla sugar 1 packet
vanilla in pods 1 pc.
PREPARATION:
Stir the sugar with the contents of the vanilla pod. Measure out one third and set aside - useful for sprinkling. Mix the rest of the sugar with the almonds, flour, starch and vanilla sugar.
Add the flaked butter and quickly knead the dough. Collect it in a lump and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour. Then roll the chilled dough into a sausage, cut into walnut-sized pieces and form each into a crescent-shaped bagel.
Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper and lay out the bagels. Place in an oven preheated to 150 ° C for 10-15 minutes. Gently remove from the baking sheet, immediately roll in the remaining sugar-vanilla mixture.
